Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday, April 8
1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sign up sheets are posted on the wall next to your child's classroom door. Conferences will be held in the classrooms and will last 15 minutes. If you have questions, concerns, comments or compliments, please schedule a conference with your child's teacher. If you need a longer conference, or you cannot make it on the Thursday, please check with your child's teacher for a convenient time. On conference day, parents should park in the west parking lot. Please do not park in the driveway in front of the main entrance. Please note: Children are not allowed to attend the parent-teacher conference. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Students may dress up or wear nice casual clothes for their pictures. Please dress up from head to toe - shoes may be in the picture. Students may not wear jeans or clothing with artwork or writing. Girls' wearing dresses with straps will be required to wear a sweater in the classroom. Please remember to send appropriate shoes for recess and PE. Pictures will be made before PE. |

Math Olympics
CDS students participated in the ACSI Math Olympics at ECS on March 31. Congratulations to all 36 students who participated and to the following students who placed in the competition.

Duke Tip
Recently ten CDS seventh graders took the ACT as part of the Duke University Talent Identification Program. All students did very good on the test with scores ranging from 15-21 (perfect score is a 36). Six out of the 10 students received State Recognition - Parker Fleming, Robert Mihalko, Hannah Romine, Christian Sidebottom, Rebecca Smith, and Tim Zmudzinski. Great job! |
